Who am I?
My name is James Mueller and I’ve been in an IT role for the last 7 years. I began my trek through Information Technology at a large family-owned propane company after several years in Customer Service. It was in this role where I was shown my first vMotion and fell in love with VMware technology. I moved to UMass Lowell and was able to continue working with VMware and became interested in cyber security. From there, I found a serendipitous position at the cyber security company Carbon Black. I was able to see significantly more of the VMware product portfolio at Carbon Black and am responsible for all things VMware – vSphere for both Production and Engineering, light use of EUC (Horizon), and even vRealize Automation.
Why did I start this blog?
I have intentions on bringing my journey through the world of IT to life here. It will be a dumping ground for things that I want/need to remember or think will be helpful to others. If I had to guess, content will focus on VMware products, the VMware User Group, and, from time to time, various aspects of organizational behavior as I’m passionate about those things. Only time will tell.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy your time here.
